I can understand some players not knowing who Gaile is. However, with each event there is a ridiculous amount of people who don't seem to have a clue what's going on. Personally, I tend to ignore the log in screen, because I have an RSS feed that gives me all of the GW.com updates on my home page, but I'll still sometimes look at it when there's something new up.

I've not logged in today yet, but I can't wait for all the "WHEN DOES EVENT START?!" and "when we get hat?!"

I check out the announcements on login, but it's just a blurb about a party for Gaile. I went on to check GW.com, but I'm sure a lot of people just logged right in and proceeded to demand answers. :P

Can't read them. I have my Shortcut set up with "-password" cmd. If they were in the Character Selection screen, then yes, I would read them.

Some people have lives outside of the game and only play it very briefly. Therefore, how the hell would they know who a random person called Gaile Gray is...and who the hell a random Frog is?! Not every person knows the ins and outs of the game. Some just hop on, have a run around and a talk to mates and go off after 1 hour. 'Game skimming' is what I call it.

No one said you had to post in my threads. But it seems the mystic power of +1 really does exist.

Either way, I've gained no complaints except from the few people who just have to throw in some last word.

Since the event has already started, this thread can officially be closed. Unless people want to make comments about people complaining about how much time is left before the next Frog Visit. But that could easily be made into a new thread...

I thought it was typical that after the first visit from The Frog everyone just stared yelling "WHERES MY FREE STUFF!!!" "THIS EVENT SUCKS NO FREE STUFF"

I mentioned it's not supposed to be about free stuff it's about celebrating Gaile's service as PR and I got three types of answer :
